Barbara G. Schutzgruber

I am a weaver. I weave words, fiber, reed and fabric to create stories, garments and containers. The movement of body and material creates a dance bringing images to life linking imagination and the physical world.

I regularly participate in summer schools, workshops and conferences offered by the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers (UK), International Feltmakers Association, Michigan League of Handweavers, Handweavers Guild of America Preconference and Convergence. I am a member of Complex Weavers and the Ann Arbor Fiberarts Guild.
